Itamar Katan
Itamar Katan is an Israeli product designer and AI builder, and the co-founder of Meraki.

What he does at Meraki
Itamar co-founded Meraki with Noam Gold. Meraki is a new product agency built around the Meraki Sprint: a five-step process (Discover, Explore, Choose, Build, Test & Learn) designed to help experts, educators and mission-led organizations turn their knowledge into a focused, working MVP tested with real users. Inside the sprint, Itamar owns product design and AI building - from the first product framing through the designed, working product.
Background
Before co-founding Meraki, Itamar spent four years (2022-2026) at MindCET, the EdTech innovation center of Israel's Center for Educational Technology, where he designed and built learning products.
Itamar works as an AI product designer - a designer who builds. Instead of stopping at wireframes and mockups, he designs and ships real, working software himself, with AI as a core part of his process. His independent work includes Pixel Poke, a free Chrome extension for visual editing of live websites, and RecordAI, a private, local-first AI meeting assistant for Hebrew and English discovery conversations.
More of his work lives in his portfolio at itamarkatan.xyz, and you can connect with him on LinkedIn.
